Our ethical charter

 

Principles and values to which every partner must subscribe:

Solid’Action’s purpose is to contribute to the sustainable and solidary development of the Earth through international cooperation, and to allow everyone to actively participate to the decrease of disparities.

In a sharing and exchange approach

Solid’Action fully respects the principles of the International Bill of Rights, the Convention on the Rights of the Child, the CEDAW Convention, which purpose is :

• To respect the Millennium Development Goals and follow-up their progress through our actions,

• To promote integrated development projects,

• To be sure that the people are actively involved key players in the projects and actions that concern them,

• To suport local players in the set-up and follow-up of long-lasting projects until they are autonomous, without creating financial, material or organizational dependence,

• To connect citizens willing to get involved in the international solidarity with clearly identified local partners,

• To raise the awareness of the travellers to a responsible behaviour and respect to host populations, rules of life and environment,

• To provide complementary skills to the projects without substituting to the local workforce and to meet expressed real needs.

 

In a quality and ethics approach

Solid’Action is one Cooperative Enterprise of employees, which purpose is to become a Cooperative of Collective Interest (SCIC), and which opted for :

• Transparent management with an economic model based on self-financing,

• Gainfulness and individual non-profitability,

• Independence to any political, confessional and religious current,

• Quality partnerships with all the players in the field of development,

• Providers and financial partners from the Social and Solidary Economy in order to contribute to the broadcasting and promotion of the cooperative’s values.
